OHS Law for Managers
When it comes to breaching OHS regulations, the stakes are high. Keep staff up to date and your workplace safe.
Under the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 employers must ensure a safe working environment for all or face high penalties for OHS offences.
To avoid the costly consequences of non-compliance, you need to be aware of your employer OHS responsibilities, as well as your own personal responsibilities and those of your staff. Knowledge surrounding the responsibilities of other key parties such as employees, occupiers, self-employed persons, labour hire agencies, manufacturers and suppliers is expected.
This one day course will give you with an understanding regarding the key elements and principles of the OHS Act and give you an understanding of the extent to which both your organisation and you personally are compliant with the duties set out by the Act.
