COVID-19 Business update

Last week, the State Government announced a $250.7 million package to support Victorian businesses during the current circuit breaker lockdown.

The package features initiatives for small to medium-sized businesses and sole traders.

Business Costs Assistance Program
The Business Costs Assistance Program will provide $2,500 grants for eligible businesses directly affected by the circuit-breaker industry restrictions, including restaurants and cafes, event suppliers, accommodation providers and non-essential retailers.

The program will open for applications on Wednesday 2 June, 2021 and will remain open for three weeks.

Register your interest in the program and be alerted when applications open on Wednesday.

Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021
Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 program provides businesses holding an eligible liquor licence and food certificate with a $3,500 grant per premises.

The program will open for applications on Wednesday 2 June, 2021 and will remain open for three weeks.

To be alerted when applications open, register your interest for the program.

Victorian Events Support Package
A $20 million Victorian Events Support Package was also announced, to support operators in the events industry impacted by the circuit breaker lockdown.

The details of this package are expected to be released soon.
